The Dusty Miller
Our in-house caterers for functions and weddings (if required) are Brian and Elizabeth Dennison of the renowned Dusty Miller Restaurant.
The Dusty Miller was named as County Restaurant of the Year by the Good Food Guide in 1994, and has been listed in Michelin’s Food Guide ever since with the note “well worth going out of your way to find this place”. The Restaurant was also proud of its two-rosette status with the AA.
The Dennisons owned and ran the Dusty Miller Restaurant until the autumn of 2005 when they decide to concentrate purely on outside catering at venues such as Markenfield.

From our own experience we know that they provide food and wine of the highest quality and value with charming service.
Wedding Celebrations
There are many options available for catering at a wedding ranging from drinks and canapés if using the Hall for the civil ceremony only to a sit down wedding breakfast in the Great Hall.

Approach
The Dennisons have a very personal approach to catering. Once a date has been established with the Hall and the Dennisons, Brian and Elizabeth will meet with their clients to discuss their likes and dislikes as well as any ideas they may already have.
Several meetings are arranged between the time the wedding or function is booked and the big day itself to ensure that things will always run smoothly.
