Saturday 21 August 11am Requiem Mass (Tridentine) for Sir Thomas Markenfield and three other members of the Markenfield family, the last of the family to live here and worship in this Chapel before being driven into exile and starvation following The Rising of the North in November 1569 - Father Ronald Creighton-Jobe and sung by Fr Adrian Convery OSB and other monks from Ampleforth Abbey

Ripon International Festival in the Great Hall. The Souza Winds: flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon and horn in a programme of Debussy, Arvo Part, Ball, Arrieu, Patterson and Dvorak’s Quintette in F (from "American" Quartette).

Venice in 1310 an illustrated lecture by the President of The Friends of Markenfield, Viscount Norwich CVO (John Julius Norwich), for 29 years Chairman of Venice in Peril, followed by many years’ Chairmanship of the World Monuments Fund in Britain, author of (among many other works) the classic two volume History of Venice
